Peckforton Castle - Phase 1
Following the extensive fire of June 2011, the east wing of this Grade I listed castle was fully refurbished and re-opened to the public within an eight month period.
The refurbishment works were followed by a project to extend the castle to provide a staff and goods entrance, laundry, staff accommodation and waste and re-cycling centre.
It was shortlisted for a Construction Excellence NW Award in March 2013.
