Stable Cottage

An array of John Douglas designed barns in a Conservation Area in the Greenbelt outside Chester were converted into residential use in 2004. Taking advantage of an existing recess in the facade of the barn, a contemporary fully glazed sun room was added to improve the connection between the house and the garden.
