The Shanty
Located on what must be one of the most spectacular sites in Wales, the Bennar Headland in Abersoch, this replacement dwelling scheme has recently obtained planning permission. The proposal comprises three levels of free-form accommodation, with each level having access to an external terrace. The floors step back on plan to follow the profile of the hill above the cliffs. The curved plan form responds to the unusual topography of the site whilst the opening curved glass walls make the most of the 180º panoramic views.
