When you stop to think about it, there are always plenty of reasons to not do things.
After all, it doesn't make a huge amount of logistical sense to host a supper in the middle of a field, a good twenty minute walk from the nearest drop-off point. Especially when the weather forecast isn't very good!
It takes a leap of faith to create something special but it's hugely rewarding when it pays off.
Building on the success of our first supper club back in the Spring, we thought we'd celebrate the fantastic Summer we've been having with a Feast.
The brief was simple: good food, good friends, good location and (hopefully) good weather.
The whole team planned and prepared. Adam made the lino-printed invitations, everyone helped with the setup and Dawn & Chloe put on an amazing spread of Moroccan inspired dishes.
We arrived under our own steam, on foot, by bicycle and canoe. We swam in the river and had a pre-supper yoga and breathing class. Most importantly, we feasted in good company!
Anticipating that it might be something special, we invited our friends Chris & Rob from the With Love Project to come and film the whole thing. We'll share the results next month!
