Recently, Chloe happened to mention that she loved cooking for people and that she’d like to do more.
This was obviously an opportunity that couldn’t be missed, and so, the Raise Supper Club was born. Everyone in the team liked the idea of a team meal, cooked by the team. But not just any old meal, something special.
Dawn offered her beautiful home as the venue and Anja produced the illustrations for the gif and dressed the table. Andy made the starter, Chloe the main and Dawn the desert. Liam cooked up some special nuts to go with the gin and tonics beforehand and Jennifer served the canapés. Steve looked after the beats and David the jokes. Alice flew in from Innsbruck, Randal was given a pass out for the evening and Julia was instructed to take it easy.
Its always good for the team to go out for a drink or a meal but there’s something magical when the team makes an effort and cooks up something special for itself. Its more meaningful and, although hard to define quite why, people seem to connect better with each other.
The following day the studio was buzzing as tales from the evening before were retold. Will we do it again? You bet. What will it be? Something outdoors in the summer. A beautiful location. A fire pit. Not a barbeque. A Raise Summer Feast.
